Florian Klinger, Raphael Meinhart & Alois Eberl
Very rarely do opportunities arise for two mallet players to come together in a band - mainly for reasons of space. That's why Raphael Meinhart and Florian Klinger are taking the initiative themselves and, together with trombonist and accordionist Alois Eberl, are launching a new project by exploring the possibilities of their instruments and bringing together the different styles of the three composers and performers.

Wolfgang Puschnig & Jon Sass
Wolfgang Puschnig and Jon Sass, both now "veterans" of the Austrian jazz scene, have known each other since 1980 and have since experienced many musical adventures together in a wide variety of formations. Together they share their understanding of improvisation, interplay, symbiosis and groove. They address the audience in a pure and direct way and take them on a journey into their shared "musical cosmos".

Marema Fall & Band
Marema is the new, great female voice of Senegal and is somewhere between Afro Pop, Mbalax, Soul and World Music. The musician herself describes her music simply as boundless fusion. Her identity and life experiences give her an unmistakable character with which she conquered the musical landscape of West Africa in no time at all. In her songs, she tells of the strong women of her homeland and campaigns against social injustice. In 2012, she was discovered by Mao Otayeck, the former band leader of "Alpha Blondy", who went on to arrange and produce her songs. Her international breakthrough came in 2014 with the single "Femme d'affaire". The following year, she won the RFI - Africa Music Award for "Best Female Artist in Africa" and toured throughout Africa. Invitations to major festivals in Europe followed. Today she lives in Vienna and is working on her new album, which she will record in Senegal. (press release)
